Privacy Policy for GenStation

GenStation is a client-only iOS and macOS application for generating images and videos using third-party AI services (Google Gemini, xAI Grok, AI/ML API, ComfyUI, and optionally ImgBB). We do not collect, store, log, or transmit any personal data.

No Personal Data Is Collected by GenStation

GenStation has no user accounts, no analytics, no crash reporting, and no servers of its own. We do not collect, store, log, or transmit any personal data. API keys are stored only in the secure system keychain and are never sent to us.

Prompts and generated outputs are processed locally whenever possible. However, when you generate content:

• Your prompt and any input images are sent directly to the third-party AI service you select (Gemini, Grok, AIMLAPI, or your own ComfyUI server).
• If you choose the “ImgBB Links (Public URLs)” image submission method (optional, for certain AIMLAPI models that do not support base64 or binary uploads), your input images are uploaded to ImgBB’s servers to obtain public URLs. These images become publicly viewable by anyone who has the link.

All generated images, videos, and history are stored only locally on your device unless you manually share or export them.

Third-Party Services You Connect To

The app acts only as a pass-through client. The following external services may collect and process data according to their own privacy policies:

• Google Gemini API
• xAI Grok API
• AI/ML API
• ImgBB (optional image hosting)
• ComfyUI – runs entirely on your local machine or a server you control; no data leaves your device unless you configure it otherwise.

You are solely responsible for reviewing those services’ privacy policies and for any fees or usage limits they impose.

Data Retention

GenStation retains nothing on our side. Generated images, videos, and history are stored only locally on your device and can be deleted at any time within the app.

Children’s Privacy

GenStation is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected here and in app release notes.
